An exceptional sharply detailed example of one of the most popular varieties in the U.S. coinage series. The surfaces display a glossy shale-sand color, with minute flecks of dark patina blended in.

There are no distracting contact marks seen anywhere. The moth-eaten porosity, characteristic of this variety’s diagnostics, is clearly visible on the back of the Indian’s neck and on the Buffalo’s rear-end leg.

This piece would complement any Buffalo nickel collection. It has the appearance of a higher graded coin.
