The obverse on this NGC MS-65 1884-CC GSA silver dollar rates MS-65+. It displays practically all-white surfaces that are attractively accentuated by copper-auburn-colored tinting on the bottom around the date and stars 11 - 13. Contact marks are at a minimum, especially in the fields.
The reverse rates MS-64. Its all-white surfaces are lightly peppered with small contact marks, most notably on the fields on either side of the eagle, on the eagle’s left wing (facing), and above the motto. Overall, this side will appeal to most collectors because it is untoned and shiny.
