This captivating piece has that “old-time coin album” appearance. The rich turquoise, amber, and green colors that surround the peripheries on both sides really complement mostly untoned central areas of the coin. Much luster remains. Contact marks and light hairlines blend seamlessly into the surfaces.

This is the Reverse B variety, with a small raised spike of metal extending downward from the bottom tip of the eagle’s right wing (facing) to the arrow shaft below it. A clash mark juts out from the intersection of Lady Liberty’s neck and bust.
