This is a very pleasing example of a PCGS-certified Mint State-64 Shield Nickel minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1868. Its surfaces are predominantly a white-nickel color, with only traces of auburn toning visible here-and-there. Die cracks are visible connecting devices in the upper portion of the obverse, and the reverse is very clean and sharp. Overall, this would make an excellent addition to your shield nickel collection.
