SOUTHGATE SNIPPETS - My Return

Somer's re-entry into the U.S. and Southgate Coins.

My Return

By Somer Athari

Hello and I have returned! For all of you that may not know me, my name is Somer and I work at Southgate Coins in Reno. I was just studying abroad in Spain for 5 months, but I am back and ready to keep all the old and new customers updated to the everyday life of us happy helpers at Southgate. I returned to my duties on January 22nd of this new year and I have to tell you lots have changed since I left!

Southgate Coins and Collectibles has just celebrated its first month of the expansion. We are now officially double the size of before and I am personally thrilled. What a great surprise it was for me and what a store for our always expanding customer family. We finally get to stretch our arms out to more customers all over this great nation at a much faster rate. Whether it be through our weekly changing eBay items, our flawless packaging, to this website, we are better prepared to give the best possible customer support possible. We completed our 500 (all positive) feedbacks goal on eBay and will be moving towards 1000 shortly. At this rate, it seems like the sky is the limit.

Here in Reno, our local customers are overwhelmed both with the expansion and our larger than life coins that cause passer-byers to do a double take. With the both being over 3 feet in diameter, we feel that they rightly praise the 1878-CC Morgan Dollar and the 1927 Saint Gauden's Gold Piece.

All in all, the expansion is the best thing that has happened here at Southgate Coins, except for maybe the 1873-CC No Arrows Dime, and maybe Rusty writing the well acclaimed The Mint on Carson Street. All we need now is just some good old sunlight to melt away all this SNOW.

Talk to you next week,

Somer
